Python 2.7, gzip.open() how to use and retain original .gz file
When using gzip.open() in my script, it correctly unzips the original .gz file but after the unzipping, the original .gz is gone. Is there an option where I can use gzip.open() and still retain the original file (similar to the -k option with gunzip)?
